It’s a simple, rustic style of bread that uses only flour, yeast, salt, and olive oil as the main ingredients.
You’ll find that the traditional method of using a wooden paddle to knead the dough works best here.
The resulting bread has a wonderful texture, and is delicious when fresh – but if you can’t wait, you can freeze it and enjoy it later.
Of course, if you don’t have time for such an involved process, you can simply use a food processor to create a similar result.
We love the way that this bread tastes, and it’s easy enough to make. This recipe requires no special equipment, and it’s not too difficult either.
All you need to do is combine the flour, water, and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
Mix these well, cover with plastic wrap, and leave the mixture to ferment overnight in a warm place.
After proving, add the salt and sugar to taste, and knead the dough. Once the dough is soft and elastic, form it into a ball, and allow it to rise again.
Cut the risen dough into small portions, and roll each portion into balls. Place the balls onto a greased baking sheet, leaving enough space between them.

First up, you’ll notice that I’ve included some dried oregano. This spice adds a lot of character to the bread, especially as it’s baked at a high temperature.
When cooked, the oregano leaves behind a beautiful aroma, which fills the kitchen with its distinctive fragrance.
This recipe is another great way to make that delicious Filipino-type Spanish bread that everyone loves!
It’s not overly complicated, but it does require a good deal of patience on your part. However, by following close to the instructions, you shouldn’t find it too difficult.
Now, you don’t want to use too much water or else the bread will become heavy. As such, you should only use about three cups.
Once everything is mixed together, cover the bowl with plastic wrap and set aside for 15 minutes.
